The members of Thunderado have performed hundreds of private events, both as Thunderado and with various other bands. They have the experience and knowledge to make your event go as smoothly as possible, and to adapt to any unforseen issues that may arise. (Ask any party planner, it happens!)

For parties and special events, Thunderado features a Texas-centric, but wide ranging playlist of covers from Merle Haggard to Steve Miller, Willie Nelson to Otis Redding, Creedence Clearwater Revival to ZZ Top. They can be as mellow as Harvest Moon and as rockin' as Cheap Sunglasses, depending on what fits the party.

With a flexible lineup from two to seven pieces, Thunderado can fit any size event and work within just about any budget to guarantee a fantastic time for everyone.

The Hunter and Paul Acoustic Duo is a perfect cocktail hour variety show at low volumes. [See video examples below]

The Classic Three Piece can accomodate a larger cocktail hour or a regular sized event, expanding on the duo set.

For larger events, more pieces can be added to the band for a bigger sound and to add even more variety to the show! In the past, we have added pedal steel and fiddle for a more country direction, or keys and a female vocalist for a more soul/r&b direction.
